[Local Biz Spotlight] Pho 26

You may be surprised to know, living in Calgary, we are blessed with the highest number of Vietnamese restaurants in Canada (183, to be exact, according to TripAdvisor). The fierce competition have resulted in some truly out of this world Phở, and those who appreciate it will often venture into the Mecca of Phở in Calgary, the International Ave (AKA 17 Ave SE). Of the Phở powerhouses that operate on International Ave, Phở 26 stands out with truly authentic flavours that takes us back to Vietnam every time we taste the soup.

For over 15 years, the owners of Pho 26 & their family has been nourishing the hungry bellies of Calgary with their family recipe! The number 26 represents the 26 ingredients that go into making that bowl of magic happen. In fact, they are so confident in their recipe that they even go to reveal those 26 ingredients in their menu. Each ingredient is carefully prepared to create taste notes unique to Vietnam, resulting in soup with so much depth in flavour that we don’t dare douse it in any sauces. Just so that the soup can be enjoyed in its purest form. They also serve amazing Rice Vermicelli, specials like Bánh xèo, and Vietnamese Iced Coffee, or Cà phê sữa đá for those whose been to Vietnam.

To top things off, their service is top notch with soup coming out always piping hot. They are currently open for dine-in & takeout with social distance measures in place. Check them out if you want to taste some truly authentic Vietnamese cuisine in Calgary!

Address: 4019 17 Ave SE, Calgary, AB Open daily for dine in & take out, 11-8pm
